On Track!
We’ve all been there. One day everything in life is going smoothly, then the next time you look up a couple of weeks later, everything in life is a mess and you can’t figure out HOW you got to this point.
Well, if you haven’t experienced this, kudos to you. If you HAVE experienced this, how can you get back on track?!!
The last couple of weeks I haven’t been running (speed bump) as much, and I have had little to NO energy. I don’t care when (or if ) I get out of bed, practice trombone, make food, eat food, see people, watch baseball (Go Cardinals!), sleep or brush my hair. It’s starting to bother me.
Maybe I’m depressed. Who knows.
BUT, I am trying to get out of this damn funk! So I’m fighting back as of today!
I just ran 4.6 miles in 35 minutes, which is sub 8 minute miles. Somehow, my speed is increasing while running, even though I’m really trying to go slow and steady to allow my foot to heal properly. I feel pretty energized right now, so I’m going to clean my room while listening to baseball (Game 2 of the NLDS featuring the Washington Nationals and the St. Louis Cardinals). I’m thinking with a clean room, I can gain a clear head and try to get my life back on track!
What do you do when you’re in a funk and need to get back on track?
